In Alamance Co. near Hwy. 54, on SR 2142, Salem Church Rd., near intersection with SR 2151, Phillip’s Chapel Rd.

Married Hulda Hagar.
Then came to N.C. with a
family of 14 boys and girls
in 1765. Settled on
Haw River at Saxaphaw.
Born in England.
Ancestor of English
Thompson of N.C. and
of the "West"
