IN MEMORY OF CHARLES LAIL

On April 9 2008, the genealogy community lost a great man, Charles Robert Lail.

Charles has contributed so much to the Alexander Co Genweb site and neighboring counties,
as well as Find A Grave. He has helped people all over the US gather photos of cemeteries,
never asking anything in return, except to KEEP IT FREE.

As you look at the cemetery photos on Alexander GenWeb, please remember this kind, generous
man who gave so much.

I never met Charles but shared many emails with him.
On April 8, 19:17:20pm-0400 this last email arrived from Charles:

I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend
while I'm here than a whole truck load when I'm gone ...
