Love H. Tatum was born 5 June, 1859, the son of Clayborne
& Sarah Tatom.
His wife, Sarah Lundy Sykes was born in 1869.

of Love H. Tatum:
L.H.TATUM Dies at Lumberton Rd home
---- L.H. Tatum died at his home, 1051 Lumberton Road, this
morning at 4:45 after several months of illness. Mr. Tatum was a
retired building contractor. He was born in White Oak June 5,
1859. He moved to Fayetteville in 1917 and had made many friends
in the community where he lived. Mr. Tatum was twice married, and
is survived by his last wife, who was before her marriage Mrs.
Margaret Kennedy of Fayetteville. (Survived also by) five
daughters, Mrs. C W Moore of Rose Hill, Mrs. Ernest Pickett of
Fayetteville, Mrs. T C Lovelace of Coshhocton, O., Mrs. H H Kelly
of New York, and Mrs. Eddie Jones of Kerr; four sons, M L Tatum
of Willard, C H Tatum of NY, and Jessie and Elvin Tatum of
Fayetteville; one half-sister Mrs. Lillie Taylor of Darlington,
SC, and one half-brother, L. L. Smith of Cumberland. Funeral
services will be held from the home Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock, and burial will be in White Oak. Rev. Joel S. Snyder
will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Frank Barrett, Elmer
Arnett, J. W. Brisson, Kirby Simmons, Frank Davis and H. M.
Elkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Sheriff N. H. McGeachy, DR
Seavy Highsmith, James Poe, Allen Poe, Gray Smith, L. E.
McKnight and L. C. McDaniel.
