I was told my my great aunt, Rachel Edge Barnhill b. 1908, that this was the home of Marshall Edge and Matilda Ann Suggs. The home was located near Little Singletary Lake and Suggs Mill Pond.

Marshall E. Edge (1841 - before 1900), was the son of Elias and Polly Edge. He married Mathilda Ann Suggs (1844 - 1918), daughter of Rayford Suggs and Sarah Downing.
