Know all men by these presents that we Hannah Locke, John Wilkinson, William Liles and Samuel Vines are held and firmly bound unto Benjamin Smith Esquire Chairman of the County Court of Brunswick and by ? in office in the sum of six thousand dollars from which payment will and truly be made in hand ?  ? executing and administrating jointly and severally of these presents signed with our hands and seals this 28th day of July 1818

The condition of the above obligation is such that of the above bound Hannah Locke administratrix of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits of Roger Roots, Hannah Roots and Samuel Roots deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels, rights and credits of said deceased which have or shall come to the hands or possession or knowledge of the said Hannah Locke or unto the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him and the same for him and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited to the county court where orders for administration passed within nintey days after the date of these presents and the same goods and chattels and credits and all other goods chattels and credits of said deceased at the time of his death or which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Hannah Lock or into the hands or possession of any other person for him do well and truly administer according to law and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of the said administration within two years after the date of these presents and all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said administrating account, the same being first examined and allowed by the county court shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively, as the same shall be due unto, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of this and if afterwards and if it shall appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the deceased, and the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same into court, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the said Hannah Locke being thereunto requested do render and deliver the said Letters of Administration approbation of such testament being first had and made in the said court then this obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
