Descendants of Matthew McCORKLE

The McCorkle family, among the first Scotch-Irish emigrants to the Catawba Valley of North Carolina, became quite prominent in the area. They served their country in the military and their community and state in the realm of law and justice. While many migrated westward, they left an indelible mark of their patriotism and service behind.
