William Starr Cook was born December 31, 1853 in Fayetteville and died April 21, 1930 from bronchial 
pneumonia. On November 10, 1880 he married Charlotte Ann Mitchell, the daughter of Robert Mitchell 
and Susan Massey.

Charlotte Ann Mitchell was born March 15,1862/63 and died February 27,1925 from pulmonary edema. 
William and Charlotte had no children but brought up 36 orphaned "nieces and nephews." They lived 
on Cool Springs St., Fayetteille
