The following records were copied verbatim this 14th day of October 1934 from the old Family Bible of Tully Bell and Penelope Ferebee, his wife, by Annie A. Ferebee of Norfolk, Va. The above Bible is now owned by Mr. Kenyon Wilson, Elizabeth City, N.C., a great-grandson of Tully & Penelope Bell.
MARRIAGES
Tulley Bell and Penelope L. Ferebee were married 3rd day May
1821.
Dr. Napolean J.M. Smith and Sarah I. Bell were married 10th November 1842.
Isaac Snowden and Elizabeth Bell was married J [torn] 46 [Actual date was June
17, 1846]
James M. Bell and Eliza Ann Bonner were married 4 December 1856.
George F. Bell and Fanny M. Gordon were married 11th December 1856
Frederick J. Bell and Sarah Thaxton were married 1858.
George W. Snowden and Huldah F. Bell were married Jany 31, 1851.
Joseph K.
Wilson and Amelia Bell were married on the 25th of Dec. 1851.
Wm. L. Wilson & Addie L. Ferebee were married Dec. 14th 1876.
At the residence of Geo. D. Pool, Esq. on the 19th of Dec. 1878 by Rev. F.C. Woodward, Tullie B. Wilson of Indian Town, Currituck County, N.C. & Jennie F. Kenyon of Elizabeth City, daughter of the late John Kenyon, Esq. of that place
Samuel F. Bell married Emelda Gray January 1848.
Emelda Gray Bell died Nov. 30, 1856.

born 11th November A.D. 1828.

born Novr. 20th 1830.
George Ferebee Bell was born March 17th 1832, son of Tully
Bell and Penelope Bell.
Amelia Bell, daughter of Tully & Penelope L. Bell, was born
March 25th 1834.
Huldah Ferebee Bell, Daughter of Tully & Penelope L. Bell,
was born the 18th February A.D. 1836.
Frederick John Bell, Son of Tully & Penelope L. Bell, was born
on the 28 day of May A.D. 1838.
Lucretia Virginia Bell, daughter of Tully & Penelope L. Bell,
was born April 18 A.D. 1842.

Snowden, the daughter of Elizabeth and Isaac Snowden, was born August 1, 1847.

15th July 1848 and died the 4th Jany. 1849.
William Webster Smith, son of N.J.M. Smith & Sarah J., his
wife, was born the 30th of Decr. 1852.
William Lawrence Wilson, son of Joseph Wilson & Amelia, was
born the 27th of October 1852.
Tully Bell Wilson, son of Joseph Wilson & Amelia, his wife,
was born the 2nd of April 1854. [date of month blurred--could be 22nd]
Lillie Elizabeth Wilson, the daughter of Joseph and Amelia
Wilson, his wife, was born the 6th day November 1856.

Amelia Bell was born March 25, 1834.
DEATHS
Jane Bell, wife of Brickhouse Bell, died November the [blank] 1820.
Brickhouse Bell died February the 23, 1822.
Mary An Bell Died December 11th 1830.
Tully Bell died November the 4
(Sat.) 1843 (being the son of Jane and Brickhouse
Bell) at the age of 45 years 5 months and 15 days.
Edwin C. Bell, son of Tully & Penelope Bell, departed this life March
(Monday)
14th 1853 aged 29 years 3 months.
Elizabeth Rebecca Snowden died 29 June 1856.
Sophrenia Louiza Snowden died July 1856.

and died six days afterwards.

Penelope L. Bell, the wife of Tully Bell, died November 19, 1861.

December 5th 1869.
George F. Bell, son of Tully and Penelope L. Bell, departed this life Aug. 2,
1872.
Lucretia V. Old, Daughter of Tully and Penelope L. Bell, departed this life
January 4th 1875.
