 Willis Gallop Cemetery
Martin's Point, Dare Co., NC

Directions: From US 158 southbound take the Wright Memorial Bridge into Dare County.  After crossing the bridge, immediately to your left is the exclusive gated community of Martin's Point.   The cemetery is within the gated community.  At the entrance tell the security guard that you are there to visit the family cemetery and you will be permitted access to the community.  Make a left onto Martin's Point Road and go about 2.1 miles [just beyond the marina when the roadway curves to the left].  The cemetery is on the left about 35 foot from the road.  There is a sign stating "Gallop Cemetery 1848".  Note:  On the curve, Martin's Point Road becomes Currituck Road.  Currituck Road loops back to Martin's Point Road, make a right and it will take you back to the entrance.
