Gideon Bonney - 1819
3 July 1819 - Know all men by these presents that we Gideon BONNEY Wm BONNEY and Jonathan BONNEY of the State of No Carolina and County of Currituck the proper heirs of Gideon BONNEY a Continental soldier in the old revolutionary war Great Brittain against the United States of America do Authorize Constitute and appoint our friend Isham ANDERSON of the same state and County of Martin to apply to the secretaries office of the said state of No Carolina and draw from said office a military land warrant for the services of him the said Gideon BONNEY as afore said and do all other things touching said Business in as full and ample manner in every respect manner and form as if we were there personally present ourselves and we do further authorize our said attorney to empower other person or persons to Transact the Business as if he were there present himself. In witness whereof we do hereunto set our hands and offer our seals this 3rd July 1819. /s/ Gideon BONNEY, William BONNEY [Jonathan Bonney did not sign]
