Elijah Sibbern, Jr. was born to Elijah Sibbern, Sr. and his wife Keziah on March 18, 1833 in Kitty Hawk and died April 27, 1909 in Kitty Hawk. He married Frances Twiford and together they had 7 children: 1) Mary Frances Sibbern (1859-1912); 2) Sarah C. Sibbern (1863-1888); 3) Annie M. Sibbern (1865-1871); 4) Valentine B. Sibbern (1867-1868); 5) Addie Medley Sibbern (1869-1955); 6) Nancy F. Sibbern (1872-1903); and 7) Missouri F. Sibbern (1876-1913) [see her husband's photo here]. Elijah Sibbern, Jr. was a surfman at the Kitty Hawk Life Saving Station. |
