In the name of God Amen, I Mary BERRY widow of Samuel BERRY, being in good health but not knowing how soon it may please God to call me, do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
Imprimis I give to my Son Richard BERRY, my mare called Lady to him and his heirs
Item I give to my Daughter Franky BERRY, one feather bed and furniture also one pair of gold ear bobs and two gold rings to her and her heirs
Item I give to my Daughter Catharine ROBERTSON one english shilling that with what she has already had to be her full part of my property.
Item I give to my Daughter Nancy CRABB one shilling and no more
all the rest of my property within and without doors my desire is that it be equally divided between my three smallest children, Samuel BERRY, John BERRY, and Franky BERRY so as that my two Sons parts, are equal with my Daughters parts and legacies and if either of them dies without heir of their body lawfully begotten their part to go to the survivirs and their heirs
Lastly I nominate and appoint my Son Richard BERRY my executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th day of Dec. 1801
