In the name of God Amen, I Embley BUNNELL of Currituck County and State of North Carolina, being of a sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God, do this 12th of November in the year of our Lord 1802, make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say,
I commend my soul to God and my body to the earth to be burried in a christian manner in confidence of a sure and certain resurrection through the attoning blood of a dear redeemer and my goods that kind heaven hath blessed me with I give in manner and form following.
Imprimis I give unto my Sons John and James and Thomas BUNNELL all my land joining William WARDs land and the main road and if the child my Wife is with child with is a boy then four to be equally divided between them and if a girl child to be equally divided between first three named to them and their heirs forever.
Item I give the child my Wife is with child with if a girl child, one bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever.
Item I leave all my land over the creek to be sold to pay my debts.
Item after my debts is paid I give the remainder of my property to be equally divided between the children living when they are at age, to take it them and their heirs forever.
I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend Edw. BUNNELL executor to this my Last Will and Testament I set my hand and seal the day and year above writen
