Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Henry HOLOWAY of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, calling to mind the none certianty of this life and it being ordained once for all men to die do make and ordain this instrument of writing to be and contain my Last Will and Testament disannulling and revoking all other wills before by me made either word or writing and this only to be taken.
First, that is to say, I recommend my soul to the Almighty God that gave it and my body to be decently burried a place where it should pleas my executors here after named and as to what estate it hath been pleased God to bestow me I give and dispose in manner and form followeth.
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Patience HODGES one shilling sterling money and what I have already give her to her and her heirs forever for her part of my estate.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Richard SMITH one shilling sterling money and what I have give him to him and his heirs forever for his part of my estate.
Item I give and bequeath to my Grandson Henry SMITH one shilling sterling money and what I have give him to him and his heirs for ever for his part of my estate.
Item I give and bequeath one gun to William MATHIAS to him and his heirs for ever for his part of my estate.
Further I give and bequeath to my loving Wife all my estate real and pershisable within doors and without to her and her heirs forever.
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Henry HOLLOWAY as his Last Will and Testament in his presents and in the presents of each other have hereto subscribed our names this 15th day of December 1800
Further I appoint my loving Wife my executrix this is my Last Will and Testament
