State of North Carolina Currituck
In the name of God Amen, I Catherine JONES, being weak of body but of a sound memory, Thanks be to God for it but knowing it is appointed for all persons to die, I do pronounce and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in form and manner as followeth.
Item I give and bequeth unto my Daughter Patsey BARROTT all my wering clothers then all the remainder of my property to be equelly divided between my two children John and Patsey BARROTT and if one of them should dye without lawfull issue the property shall return ful to the other and if boath should dye without lawfull issue for all the property to my Brother George HOWARD.
Item I constitute appoint my aforsaid Brother George HOWARD my whole and sole executor of this my Last Will to settle all my besness agreable to this my Will and as the law shall direct in witnessing whereof I here unto set my hand and seal this sixth day of October 1799.
