Currituck County Wills
In the name of God Amen, I Benjamin of the County of Currituck, being of sound mind and memory blessed be God. Do this first day of February in the year of our Lord make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say,
First I give and bequeath unto my loveing Wife Mary all my household furniture likewise my red cow, four head of sheap, one sow and six year old barrows, two cows two bull yearlings and mare to be sold for six monthes credit and the money that the above stock shall fetch I give to my loveing Wife Mary PORTWOOD.
Lastly I give to my two children Barbara and Samuel PORTWOOD all the money that I sold my stock for for the purpose of schooling them to be equally divided and I make and ordain my worthy friend Thomas WILLIAMS executor of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Benjamin PORTWOOD have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above writen.
