Hal McDade, 57, of 402 Milton Ave, died in a Granville County hospital Wednesday afternoon after an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Peggy Sharpe McDade; two sisters, Miss Lettie McDade of Rt 2, HIllsboro, and Mrs. Helon Barnette of Burlington; two brothers, Robert McDade of Philadelphia, Pa, and Johnnie McDade of Durham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Friday in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church north of Hillsboro by Rev Richard Peterson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mason Kenyon, Jule Long, Will Rudder, Newt Rucker, Lee and Lewis Kennedy. The family will be at the home of Miss Lettie McDade of Rt 2, Hillsboro.
