Mrs. Camelia Annie McDade, 87, died at 12:20PM Sunday after several years of declining health. She was a native of Orange County, daughter of Coleman and Sallie Brown Burch.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Compton of Cedar Grove and Mrs. Bill McBroom of Hurdle Mills, NC; five sons, Dr. B B McDade of Burlington,NC, C S McDade of Cedar Grove,NC, Wessie G McDade of Richmond, VA, Paul B McDade of High Point,NC and Milton McDade of Mebane, NC; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Monday at 3PM at Walker’s Funeral Chapel here by the Rev Clarke Porter, III, pastor of Eno Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mebane, NC. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Millard McDade, Robert, Fred, Charlie, Burch and Harry Compton.
