Mrs. Elma McDade Liner, 75, died at her home early Sunday. She was a member of the Hillsborough Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Surviving are her widower, Ewell C Liner; five daughters; Mrs. Gladys C Coley of Hillsborough, Mrs. J Bruce Cannady and Mrs. Haywood A Jones, III both of Durham; Mrs. Eric L Gooch of Raleigh, and Mrs. J Wayne Martin of Oxford; two sons, J Swain Liner of Orange Park, FL and Maj C E Liner of Ft Riley, Kan, two sisters; Mrs. Lone Mincey of Hillsborough and Mrs. Joe Younger of Durham; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday at 5PM from Walker’s Funeral Home chapel by the Rev Lawton Pettit and the Rev J D Young. Burial will be in Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Wilson Cole, Scott Cates, John Midgett, J E Latta, Jr, Marion Clark and Bill Miller.
