Hillsborough – Mrs. Hattie Lee McDade Slack, 91, of the Methodist Retirement Home in Durham died Saturday at the retirement home. Mrs. Slack was a native of Orange County and a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be at 2PM on Monday, March 21, at Walnut Grove United Methodist church, burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Slack is survived by a sister Mrs. Mary Belle Potter of Chapel Hill, a brother Dewey McDade of Greensboro; a niece and several nephews. Walker’s Funeral Home in Hillsborough is handling arrangements.
