Chapel Hill – Mrs. Mary Belle McDade Potter, 93, died Saturday, July 9, in Britthaven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Potter was a native or Orange County and was a former school teacher and homemaker. She was a member of University United Methodist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 11AM Tuesday in Walker’s Funeral Home chapel in Chapel Hill by the Rev William H Gattis. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband Mr. Benjamin F Potter, Sr a son Mr. Benjamin F Potter, Jr and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9PM Monday at Walker’s Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church or Meridian Sertoma Club of Chapel Hill.
