FRANKLIN COUNTY, NC - DEEDS- Hall to Heartsfield, 4 Mar 1820

This Indenture made this the 4th day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Between Robert C. Hall of the County of Franklin of the one part and Andrew Heartsfield of the County of Wake of the other part & both of the State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that the said Robert C. Hall for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Twenty three Dollars and Thirty three & one 1/2 Cents to me in hand paid the Receipt for which Said Sum is in Virtue of these presents duly acknowledged the said Robert C. Hall hath given granted bargained sold and Conveyed & by these presents doth give, grant bargain, sell, and Convey to the said Andrew Heartsfield One Certain Tract, piece or parcel of Land being in the aforesaid County of Franklin Beginning & bounded as follows to wit, Beginning at a white Oak in said Heartsfields line and
running due North fifty Eight poles to a post oak said Heartsfields Corner, thence South Seventy four degrees East 116 poles to a white oack in Jeremiah Perrys line on the Creek thence South 54^ West 5 poles to three Burches said Jeremiah Perry's Corner, thence due South along Said Perry's line to Crooked Creek at the mouth of a Branch on the East side of said Creek. Thence up the said Creek to a large <illegible>at the Mouth of a Branch on the west side of said Creek. Thence up the said Branch 89 polesto the Begining Containing Thirty-Seven acres more or less - to have and to hold the said tract piece or parcel of Land Situated as aforesaid, and every part, and parcel thereof, unto him the saidAndrew Heartsfield and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Robert C. Hall for himself, his heirs, Executors & administrators doth hereby covenant, and agree to, and with the said Andrew Heartsfield that he is at the time of signing & sealing these presents possessed of a good, sure perfect, and indefeasable Estate of inheritance in fee simple of in and to the said Bargained premises and that he will at this time and at all times hereafter warrant and defend a good& sufficient title in Law to the Same to him the said Andrew Heartsfield & to his heirs, Executors administrators & assigns forever. In Witness whereof the said Robert C. Hall hath hereunto set hishand & seal the day & date above written.
