Franklin County  } Thomas Brickell, entry officer of claims for lands in the county aforesaid - to the surveyor of said county, greeting.
You are hereby required as soon as may be to lay off & survey for Jacob Hartsfield a tract or parcell of land containing. twenty acres lying in said county adjoining John Mitchel's, either Christopher Strothers or Mary Mullins's lines, running for compliment; observing the directions of the act of assembly in such case made & provided for runing out lands; two just and fair plans of such survey with a proper certificate annexed to each, you are to transmitt with this warrant to the secretary's office without delay. Given under my hand at office this 15th day of June Anno Dom. 1791.
