Location: Halifax, NC.  Turn right off highway #301 at Halifax Milling Company north of Halifax, cross railroad and turn left on narrow dirt road- continue for approximately 100 yards to the cemetery.      Condition: Poorly kept, the gravs sunken and markes delipated.

Location: Halifax, NC.  Back of the home of Mrs. Helen Marshal. It is near the Quankey creek ravine and across and opposite from the Episcopal cemetery.

Note: Near the cemetery is an old chimney which is all that is left of the residence of Willie Jones. An attached slip gives the writing on the plate which was placed on the chimney by the D.A.R.'s.

Tablet on chimney of Willie Jones- Former home

At the fireside of Willie Jones- whose home "the Grove" this tablet marks. He was the friend of Jefferson and most influential leader of his day of North Carolina Democracy and John Paul Jones found here hospitality , friendship, Refouge and happiness- errected April 6, 1934 by the National Society D. A. R.'s.
