I, HILLIARD HAWKINS, of the aforesaid County and  State, being of sound mind, do make and declare  this my last will and testament.

First my Executors hereinafter named shall give  my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes  of my friends and relatives and pay all funeral  expenses together with all my just debts out of  the first moneys which may come into his hands  belonging to my estate.

Second.  I give and bequeath to my Son DAVID  HAWKINS the sum of one hundred dollars the sum  of one hundred dollars.

Third. I give and bequeath to my son G. T.  HAWKINS the sum of one hundred dollars.

Fourth. I give and bequeath to my son R. M.  HAWKINS the sum of one hundred dollars.

Fifth.  I give and bequeath to my son B. F.  HAWKINS the sum of ten dollars.

Sixth.  I give and bequeath to the heirs of my  son JESSIE HAWKINS the sum of one hundred  dollars.

Seventh. I give and bequeath to my grandson  ARTHUR HAWKINS the sum of Fifty dollars.

Eighth.  I give and bequeath to my grand son  RUSSEL HAWKINS the sum of Fifty Dollars. <Note:  this line is actually crossed out>

Ninth.  I give and bequeath to my daughter CARY  HAWKINS HENDERSON the sum of one hundred  dollars.

Tenth.  I give and bequeath to my daughter ANNA  NETTIE HAWKINS the sum of Two Hundred Dollars.

Thirteenth.  I give and bequeath to BILLIE  COPLAN the sum of 50.00 Dollars.

Fourteenth.  I give and bequeath to SYLVESTER  SILVER the sum of Fifty Dollars.

Fifteenth.  I give and bequeath to MARY ASH   daughter of my second wife the sum of Fifty  Dollars .

GRACY SILVER daughter of my second wife 50.00.

Seventeenth.  I give and bequeath to ROBERT  COPLAN if there be remainder, my nephew the sum  of Fifty Dollars. 

In witness whereof, I the said HILLIARD HAWKINS  do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 5th  day of August, 1912.

S. S. in the Superior Court 

A paper writing purporting to be the last will  and testament of W. H. HAWKINS deceased, is  exhibited before me, the undersigned, Clerk of  the Superior Court for said County by B. F.  HAWKINS the proper party entitled tl letters of  administration et. al and the due execution  therein by the said W. H. HAWKINS is proved by  the oat and examination of G. G. VIVERETTE and  BLANCHE VIVERETTE the subscribing witnesses  thereto, who being duly sworn doth depose and  say, and each for himself deposeth and saith  that he is a subscribing witness to the paper  writing now shown him purporting to be the last  will and testament of W. H. HAWKINS that the  said W. H. HAWKINS in the presence of this  deponent subscribed his name at the end of said  paper writing now shown as aforesaid and which  have date of the 5 day of Aug. 1912.  And the  deponent further saith that the said W. H.  HAWKINS the testate aforesaid, did, at the time  of subscribing his name as aforesaid, declare  the said paper writing so subscribed by him and  exhibited to be his last will and testament, and  this deponent did thereupon subscribe his name  at the end of said will as an attesting witness  thereto, and at the request and in the presence  of the said testator . And this deponent further  saith that at the said time when the said  testator subscribed his name to the said last  will as aforesaid, and at the time of deponents  subscribing his name as an attesting witness  thereto as aforesaid the said W. H. HAWKINS was  of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute  a will and was not under any restraint to the  knowledge, information or belief of the  deponent; and further these deponents say not.

It is therefore considered ordered and adjudged  by the Court that the said paper writing and  every part thereof is the last will and  testament of W. H.
