"Blue Marsh Plantation", by H.L. & KEMP PLUMMER (farm property, household, bedrooms & kitchen furniture, utensils, supplies, farm animals, horses, etc.) Total Sales $3357.45 Total Sales at the residence $4048.34 Pages 244- Valuation & Division of Slaves Belonging to the Estate of AUSTIN PLUMMER, deceased. State of North Carolina Halifax County By the annexed order of Court to us directed we the undersigned Commissioners on the 20th day of December last proceeded to value, divide & set apart the slaves belonging to the heirs & nearest of kin of AUSTIN PLUMMER dec'd & alloted, set apart in severally to ALFRED PLUMMER, THOS. G. PLUMMER, WM PLUMMER, HENRY L. PLUMMER, KEMP PLUMMER, MARY ALSTON, widow of the late ALFRED ALSTON, WM H. BATTLE & wife LUCY, and M. FAULKNER, widow of the late WM. FAULKNER and L.D. CABANNA & wife SUSAN, each an equal slave and proportionate part of said Slaves. The number of Slaves divided were thirty six, valuation Sixteen thousand seven hundred & seventy six Dollars, which divided by nine gives the distributive share of Eighteen hundred & sixty four dollars to each heir, to wit: |

WIGGINS, JOSHUA S. SWIFT, WM. H. JONES, THOS P. MATTHEWS & JNO. H. CARLISLE be & they are hereby appointed Com'rs a majority to act, to divide the Slaves belonging to the heirs & next of kin of AUSTIN PLUMMER dec'd, so as to allot & set apart in severalty to ALFRED PLUMMER, THOS. G. PLUMMER, WM. PLUMMER, H.L. PLUMMER, KEMP PLUMMER, MARY ALSTON, widow of late ALFRED ALSTON, WM. H. BATTLE & wife LUCY, ANNE FAULKNER widow of the late WM. FAULKNER, & L.D.
