Will Daniel Darroch 14 May 1904
Book 1 p189/91
North Carolina Harnett County

I Daniel Darroch of the county and state aforesaid being of sound mind but concerning the uncertainty of my 
earthly existence do see fit to make and declare this my last will and Testament after my just debts are paid
I give and devise one hundred acres of Lands on Little River (of the lands descended to me from my Fathers estate) 
to my Daughter Margaret  Butler/Burton[?]
I give and devise the residue of my lands to my three Daughters Kate McDonald Mary Ray and Annie Ferrell each to 
have an equal share in said residue.
I give and bequest to my Daughter Margaret Butler/Burton[?] all my household and kitchen furniture and farming 
implements also all live stock of which I may be possessed at my death including one male cow hogs and sheep, 
with the exception of these named to the five Hogs I give and bequest to my daughter Kate McDonald also one yearling 
I give and bequest to the children of my daughter Laura Black.
I give and bequest to my son Jno P McDonald all mechanics tools which he may have in his possession
I give and bequest to my Grandson Hugh Ray my rifle gun also to my Grandson Daniel D McDonald I give and bequeath 
my shot gun

I hereby constitute and appoint Duncan Darroch my lawful executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my 
last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this May 14, 1904

Signed sealed and declared by the said Daniel Darroch to be the last will and Testament in the presence of we who 
at his request and in his presence do subscribe our names as Witnesses thereto
