MRS. A.D. McPHAUL PASSES

Mrs. A.D. McPhaul, aged about 45, [Annie Brown Currie - born 31 Oct. 1884] died here in a local sanatorium at 7 p.m. Wednesday 
following an operation the night before.  The body was carried to her home near Red Springs and will be taken Friday morning to 
Antioch church, Hoke county, where funeral services will be held and interment made at 11 a.m.

Deceased is survived by her husband and 6 children; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Currie of Hoke county; on brother-Mr. Hector 
Currie of the homestead; 4 sisters-Mrs. Jim McPhaul of Antioch, Mrs. Everleigh of Wagram, Mrs. F.B. Thrower of Red Springs and Mrs. 
A.J. Jordan of Antioch.  She was an aunt of Mr. Carl Everleigh, who is employed by the Kirkland-Thompson Electric Co., Lumberton.
