Hugh Blair Credle, son of George Lafayette Credle and Sophia S. Burrus, was born January 13, 1867 and died September 14, 1935 at the home of his brother, Walter Credle, in Washington, Beaufort Co., N.C. Hugh married Anna Mann Fisher (1876-1944), daughter of Morgan Murray Fisher and Virginia "Jennie" Mann, on June 26, 1895. Hugh Blair Credle and his wife Anna are both buried in Amity Methodist Church Cemetery.
