Nathaniel Chase Williams Home
The Nathaniel Chase Williams house, the childhood home of Olive O. Cahoon, was built around 1850 by Mrs. Cahoon's grandfather, Nathaniel Chase Williams, Sr. Jesse Lloyd Williams inherited the house from his father, Nathaniel Williams, and later sold it to his sister, Emalous Williams Overton. In recent years, Carl McGuire Cahoon, Sr., a great-great-grandson of Nathaniel Williams, bought the Emalous W. Overton estate. Today the house is not occupied. Mr. Cahoon cultivates the farm.
