Braxton Milton "Brac" Weston was the son of George Henry Weston, Sr. and Henrietta Tripp (Weston) Weston. He served in the U.S. Army as a veterinarian. He married Mildred Letha "Doe" McGowan, daughter of Dorman Steele McGowan and Florida Helen Jarvis. Braxton and Doe are both buried in Soule Cemetery in Hyde County.
