Nov. 22, 1790 - Inventory of the goods & chattles of Bethuel Bailey, deceased.  The inventory included (among other items): 77 silver dollars, 2 French Crowns, £9 paper money, 5 feather beds, 2 desks, 6 tables, 5 guns, shoemakers tools, silver rider spurs, 32 head of cattle, 74 head of hogs, one prayer book & one testament.  /s/ Samuel Bailey.  Returned Nov. Term 1791 by executor, Samuel Bailey.  /s/ Benj. Foreman, Clk.

June 6, 1791 - Summons to have the Sheriff of Beaufort County have Jonathan Wilkinson found and brought to the Hyde County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions in Currituck on Jaspers Creek the last Monday in May next so that he renders unto the executor of Beth Bailey, dec'd., the sum of £3 which the said Beth Bailey recovered of him for damages and also £3, 4 shillings & 9 pence for his cost.  Returned August Term 1791 with the note "Not to be found". [There were several more sheriff summons between 1792-1795, apparently still looking for Jonathan Wilkinson.]

Sept. 27, 1791 - Account of Sales of the estate of Bethuel Bailey.  Various buyers included: Christopher Mason, Jesse Noah Bailey, James Chambers, Seth Windley, Henry Bailey & Jno. Wright.  Total sale amounted to £79, 9 shillings & 10 pence.
