Feb. Term 1832 - Mary Douglass, adm'x. of Anthony Douglass, dec'd., petitions the Court to allow her to sell Negro man, Absolom, in order that a division of the estate can be made equally to the adm'x. and Jas. Douglass, Cealia [Selah] Davis, Peggy Douglass and James Gray.  /s/ W. Beckwith, Atty. for petitioner

Feb. Term 1832 - Upon petition filed, it is ordered that Mary Douglas, adm'x. of Anthony Douglas, dec'd., sell on a credit of 6 months for notes and good security, a Negro man named Absolom, as set forth in the said petition.  /s/ Riley Murray, Clk.

March 20, 1832 - By virtue of an order of Court, Negro man Absolom was sold at public sale for $285.00  /s/ Mary Douglass
