  •  Mr. Bailey Buie was in town Monday

     

  •  Misses Mollie and Florence Watson were in town Monday

     

  •  Mr. T. M. Cross, who has been at home for a few days returned to Sanford Wednesday

     

  •  We are sorry to hear of the death of Mr. John Reddin, of Sanford, Friday night, and we extend to his family our heart felt sympathies

     

  •  Married—In Columbia, SC, October 21, Mr. J. A. Platt to Miss Mary McCraney, daughter of A. McCraney. Miss McCraney was a niece of the late Capt. John Cole of this county.

     

  •  We are sorry to hear of the illness of Miss Mattie Brooks, of Brooksville and we hope for her speedy recovery.

     

  •  Mr. R. M. Smith is still quite ill at his home, a few miles from here, of fever.

     

  • Mr. D. B. Stone and Mrs. C. V. Brooks visited friends and relatives in Jonesboro Saturday and Sunday last.
