Looking for background of PETER SINCLAIR. Peter was born in Scotland in 1771, and immigrated to the Moore County area. In 1810, Peter married
MARGARET MURCHISON, daughter of KENNETH MURCHISON and CATHERINE MCIVER. Peter and Margaret lived on Crawley Creek, Pocket Township, NC. Their children were Catherine Sinclair (MacDonald), Nancy Sinclair(MacDonald), Mary Sinclair Wadsworth, Duncan Murchison Sinclair, and Jane Belle Sinclair.
There is a possibility that Peter was the son of JOHN and MARY SINCLAIR, who came to Wilmington from Argyllshire, Scotland, in August, 1774. On the same ship, The Ulysses, were DUNCAN and ISOBEL MCINTYRE SINCLAIR. If anyone knows the names of the children of these immigrants, or where they
settled, it would help in confirming my search for Peter.

Am looking for any relatives of my father and his family; they are
NERREN--LARUE--TRAWEEK--BLOUNT (by marriage)! My father was born in Angelina
County, Lufkin--Huntington, Texas, area in 1912. His name was STEWART NERREN.
His father was Dee Nerren, his mother (who died when he was 6 weeks old) was Junie (LaRue) Nerren. Her parents, my father's grandparents, were Jerry and Jennie (Traweek) LaRue--they raised my father after his mother's death. After her death, my father's father (Dee Nerren) remarried "Daisy" (don't know
maiden name) and they had several children (sons, mostly) who would be my father's step brothers. They did not grow up together. My father's grandfather was Lorenzo Nerren. Dee Nerren was a lumberjack from the Lufkin,
Texas, area. The Traweeks were also kin to my family by way of marriage. Stephen W. Blount married Bernice (Traweek) Blount, who was my father's cousin through the Traweek line. My mother is Charles Frances (Thompson) Nerren. My mother's sister, Melvoe M. (Thompson) Blount, married Wilfred G. Blount, the brother of Stephen W. Blount, and thus the Traweeks are connected from both sides. The Blounts' (from St. Augustine and Nacogdoches, Texas) grandfather signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.
