I am looking for information about a James Hinton born 1670 in Wiltshire, England and died in 1761 Chowan, NC US he was married to Catherine Sumner 1690-1793 according to what I Have found on Ancestry.com. They had 5 children a Jonas 1680, Amos 1734, Dempsey 1738, Aaron 1740-1795 and John born about 1741? not sure about this. I am seeking information on when he might have entered the US and where and possibly some detailed information about where he lived the time line or what ever records you might have about him or any of his children.
