The goal of this site is to provide you with FREE resources and information pertinent to the genealogical research in Craven County.  The site relies on your contributions, so please consider sharing if you have ancestors & relatives from Craven County.

Craven County was formed in 1712 from the now extinct Bath County. The county is named after William, Earl of Craven, and is bordered by Beaufort, Pamlico, Carteret, Jones, Lenoir & Pitt counties.
