Mrs. Flora Weaver Foreman

Mrs. Flora Weaver Foreman, 79, a resident of Durham, died Friday at Durham Regional Hospital. Mrs. Foreman, born in Garner, was the wife of the late Frank J. Foreman. Prior to retirement she was employed by GTE. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Lioness, and the Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Foreman was a member of Robbins Road Christian Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Ellen Foreman Kerley, of Durham; son, Kenneth B. Foreman, of Durham; grandsons, Kenneth B. Foreman, Jr., Kevin D. Foreman, Brian C. Kerley and Bruce M. Kerley; granddaughter, Mrs. Lori M. Melton; brother, Winfred Weaver, of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Rowena Shives, of Norfolk, VA; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 AM in Clements Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Roland W. Jones. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 at Clements Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her son at 2005 Carolina Ave.
