The purpose of this site is to provide you with free genealogical & historical resources for Lenoir County, NC.  This site is driven by YOUR contributions so please consider sharing your family data/research.

Lenoir County was formed in 1791 from Dobbs and named after William Lenoir.   The county seat is at Kinston and Lenoir County is bordered by Jones, Craven, Pitt, Greene, Wayne & Duplin counties.
