Obituary of Bruce Edward Bradley ~ 2009

Sylva – Bruce Edward Bradley, 67, of the Greens Creek Community died Wednesday March 4, 2009, at Swain County Hospital. A native of McDowell County, he had lived in Jackson County for the past 40 years, he was a Insurance Agent for Monumental Life Insurance Company, a graduate of Western Carolina University, a member of Woodland Church of Christ, son of the late Logan and Rosa McDaniel Bradley.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Henrietta Stiles Bradley; one son Jason McDaniel Bradley of Waukesha, Wisconsin; two brothers, Eugene and William Bradley, both of Old Fort; and two grandsons.
The funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Friday March 6, 2009, in Woodland Church of Christ with Brother Willard Cox officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Melton-Riddle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
