NETTIE BOONE BRIGHT
MARION – Nettie Boone Autrey Bright, 92, formerly of Yancey County, died
Wednesday, May 1, 2002. She was the daughter of the late Bowditch and Cina
Buchanan Boone, and wife of the late William Martin Autrey and Ed Bright.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lotus Ann Queen. She was a
charter member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Marion and a retired
nurse.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Deaton of Marion, and Beverly Suttles
of Lake Lure; a sister, Carmie Moore of Marion; four grandchildren; five
great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at McDowell Memorial Park.
The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Westmoreland Funeral
Home in Marion.
