Obituary of Beulah Ricker Elliott ~ 2009

Mrs. Beulah Ricker Elliott, age 79 of Marion passed away at her home on Friday February 27, 2009 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beulah was a native of Madison County, born on July 21, 1929 to the late Elmer and Georgia Lawson Ricker. She was a homemaker and will be lovingly remembered as a caring wife, mother and grandmother. Two of her brothers, Earl and Swan Ricker, a sister Maggie Croom, and a daughter-in-law Ruby Roland Elliott preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John Elliott; six children, Lois Cauthen and husband Doug, Roger Elliott, and Brenda Estep and husband James, all of Marion, Larry Elliott and wife Shirley of Nebo, and Kathy Morrow and husband John and Steve Elliott and wife Paula, all of Marion; one brother Hobart Ricker of Marion; two sisters, Pauline Walker of Nebo and Ruby Shelton of Marion; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday March 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Ray Stockton officiating. The family received friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial was in the West Court Baptist Church Cemetery.
