SPIKES, TANNER (TAMAR) – Interview of Tamar Spikes (1861-1948)
After following the records of Mrs. Spikes, it appears that her first name was misunderstood by the interviewer as she appears in cenus records as Tamar Spikes. She also appears in the old city directories with her husband, Frank, as Tamar Spikes, and on her husbands death certificate, as well as her own death certificate she is recorded as Tamar Spikes. —S.Griffin
