State of North Carolina ) Know all men by these presents Pasquotank County ) That I Daniel Trueblood of the County & Province aforesaid planter do make & ordain these present to Contain my last Will & Testament for the disposing of Such Wordly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bess me with in this Life in manner & form following Viz. first I will that all my Just Debts & funeral Expenses be paid out of my Estate in convenient time after my Death.

Imprimis I Give to my Son John Trueblood a tract of Land & Plantation lying at the lower end of Abel Truebloods Mill Dam in Pasquotank County which I Bought of Fisher Trueblood Containing 35 acres also a Tract of Land & plantation lying at the lower end of the Mill Dam at the Sand Hill Swamp which I Bought of Thomas Pritchard Containing 100 acres also a tract of land & Plantation lying at the upper end of the Said Mill Dam at the Sand Hill Swamp I bought of John Madren Containing 50 Acres also the Swamp which I Bought of Fisher Trueblood & of Abel Trueblood & of John Smithson and the Mill thereon also all the Land I Bought of James Taylor & the Mill there also a Tract of Sand Swamp & Plantation lying at the New Bridge which I Bought of John Harris Containing 50 acres also a Tract of Land lying at the Desart in the fork of Nobs Crook Creek which I Bought of Fisher Trueblood Containing 400 acres also a Tract of Land lying at nim (sp?) quarter Branch which I Bought of James Ward Containing 100 acres also a Tract of Land & Plantation known by the name bilyards Island which I Bought of Fisher Trueblood Containing 67 Acres to him the Said John Trueblood his heirs or assigns forever.

Item I Give to my son Jesse Trueblood a Tract of Land & Plantation Whereon I now Dwell which I bought of Fisher Trueblood and David Bowles & Joseph Relfe Executor of Thomas Russel Containing by the deeds 160 acres also a Tract of Land & Plantation living at Flatts Creek which I Bought of Joseph Morris Containing 100 acres also a tract of Land & plantation lying in the fork of Abel Trueblood’s which was Conveyed to the Said Fisher Trueblood by Abel Trueblood Containing 100 acres to him the Said Jesse Trueblood his heirs or assigns forever

Lastly I do hereby Nominate & appoint my sons John Trueblood & Jesse Trueblood Executors of this my last Will & Testament thereby disannulling & disallowing all & every other Will or Wills Bequiths Executors before this Time by me made Willed & Bequeathed Satisying & confirming this & no other to be my last Will & Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this twenty Sixth day of July one thousand Seven Hundred & ninety two——–

These may Certify that the last Will & Testament Of Daniel Trueblood dec. was exhibited by John & Jesse Trueblood Exec. Therein Named & proved by The Solemn affirmation of Isaac Overman in due Form of Law & at the Same time the Said Exec.Both appeared & were Qualified by taking the Oath prescribed By Law ordered that the Will be Recorded & Letters Testamentory issue———
