<p><strong>Funeral Service Conducted for D.H. Carson, of Goldsboro</strong><br />
Goldsboro, April 19 &#8211; <strong>D. H. CASON</strong>, 37, died at 9:30 o&#8217;clock Friday night after several days illness.  <strong>Mr. CASON</strong>, who moved here with his family some time ago from east St. Louis, was a member of the Christian church. He held a position as superintendent of the Dewey Brothers plant here.  His wife died two months ago.</p>
<p>Funeral service was conducted at 2:30 Saturday afternoon by <strong>Rev. A.J. SMITH</strong>, pastor of the First Baptist church, the minister of the Christian church.  <strong>Rev. R.K. JONES</strong> being ill.  Interment was in Willow Dale cemetery beside his wife.</p>

<p><strong>Wayne Negro Farmer Dies After Run Over by Cart</strong><br />
Goldsboro, April 28 &#8211; <strong>John ADAMS</strong>, negro, 49, of near Pikeville this county, died Friday afternoon following an unusual accident which occurred on the morning of the same day.  He was driving a two-wheel mule cart along the road when he fell from the cart and one wheel passed over his body.  He was carried home unconscious.  It is thought he suffered a stroke of paralysis which caused him to fail.</p>

<p><strong>Goldsboro Woman Dies Following Second Stroke</strong><br />
Goldsboro, Feb. 25 &#8211; <strong>Mrs. Horace KING,</strong> aged about 58, died at her home in the city at 7:30 o&#8217;clock Tuesday morning following a stroke of paralysis two years ago, and a second stroke several months ago.</p>
<p><strong>Mrs. KING</strong> before her marriage was <strong>Miss Lillie JOHNSON</strong> of Mount Olive. She lived all her life in Wayne county and since her marriage in Goldsboro.  She was a member of St. Paul Methodist church, and prominent in its activities as long as her health would allow    Surviving are her husband <strong>Horace KING</strong>, of Goldsboro, one son, <strong>Clarence KING</strong>, and one granddaughter, <strong>Francis KING,</strong> both of Hertford and one brother, <strong>Mr. J. JOHNSON</strong> of Asheville.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be conducted from the home at 3 o&#8217;clock Wednesday afternoon.</p>

<p><strong>J.A. Albritton, 73, Dies at Home of His Daughter</strong><br />
Goldsboro, June 12 &#8211; <strong>J.A. ALBRITTON</strong>, 73, of Calyspo, this county, died Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, <strong>Mrs. Paul NUNN</strong>, in Mount Olive, of complications existing over a period of several years.</p>
<p><strong>Mr. ALBRITTON</strong> was a native of Greene county but had spent most o fhis maturity in Kentucky.  About six  years ago he returned to North Carolina and made his home in Calypso, but had spent the past few months with his daughter at Mount Olive.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife and daughter. Funeral services were conducted from the home of his daughter on Wednesday by <strong>Rev. C.V. BROOKS</strong>, pastor of the Calypso Baptist church, assisted by <strong>Rev. E.N. JOHNSON</strong>, of Mount Olive and <strong>Rev. J.E. LANIER</strong>, of Wallace. Interment was in the family plot at Calypso.</p>

<p><strong>Night Watchman at State Hospital Succumbs at 76</strong><br />
Goldsboro, March 11 &#8211; <strong>Sam ANDERSON</strong>, 76, died at his home near the State hospital at Goldsboro at 9:30 Monday night following an illness of about a year.</p>
<p><strong>Mr. ANDERSON</strong> had been night watchman at the State hospital for about eight years and was prompt and efficient in his work. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Goldsboro.  Surviving are his wife and several children.</p>
<p>Funeral services were conducted from the home by his pastor <strong>Rev. Peter McINTYRE</strong>, at 1 o&#8217;clock Tuesday and interment was in the family burying ground near Faison.</p>

<p><strong>Mrs. Maggie Lynch Dies at Her Goldsboro Residence</strong><br />
Goldsboro, Nov. 22 &#8212; Mrs. <strong>Maggie LYNCH</strong>, widow of <strong>Haywood LYNCH</strong>, died at her home in this city at 11:45 o&#8217;clock this morning following an illness of about three months.</p>
<p>Funeral will be held from a local undertaking parlor at 2 o&#8217;clock Sunday afternoon, and interment will be in the family burial ground in Buck Swamp township.  Surviving are two stepsons,  <strong>Capt. M.J. LYNCH</strong>, of Goldsboro, and <strong>George LYNCH</strong>, of Greensboro.</p>

<p>Goldsboro, May 22 &#8211; <strong>Adell PRICE</strong>, 20, died at the home of his sister, <strong>Mrs. Earl PADGETT</strong>, on Slocumb street early Wednesday morning, following a lingering illness of tuberculosis.</p>
<p>Surviving are his mother, <strong>Mrs. A.P. TOMPSON</strong>, of Baltimore, and the following brothers and sisters: <strong>Ben and Robert PRICE</strong>, both of Baltimore: <strong>Frank and Paul PRICE</strong> of Hunert: <strong>Theodore PRICE</strong> and <strong>Mrs. Earl PADGETT</strong>, both of Goldsboro, and <strong>Mrs. J.W. SMITH</strong> of Emporia, Va.</p>
<p>Funeral services were conducted from May&#8217;s chapel, near Dudley at 3 o&#8217;clock Thursday afternoon by <strong>Rev. Mr. ROUSE</strong>.</p>
