Thomas Henry Cofield of Enfield, N. C. and Mae Marie McWilliams of Enfield, N. C. were married in Tarboro, N. C. 5 January 1928 - witnessed by Curtis Cofield and Maderlin Cofield

Thomas Henry Cofield's parents were Henry Cofield and Grace Cofield. His paternal grandparents were Henry Cofield and Anna Cofield. His paternal grandmother was Lucy Bradley.

Mae Marie McWilliams' parents were George McWilliams and Mary McWilliams. Her paternal grandparents were Bynum Qualls and Marih (sic) McWilliams. Her maternal grandmother was Nancy Harvey

First child born to Thomas and Mae McWilliams Cofield was  Willie Mae who married Albert Rees Johnson. One granddaughter by this union is Tanya Marie

Second child born to Thomas and Mae McWilliams Cofield was Sylvia Arlene who married Richard Carl Ellison, Jr. Two grandchildren by this union: Dale Felichia and Dawn Claudette Ellison

Third child born to Thomas and Mae McWilliams Cofield was  Claudelle Vivian who married Ernie Hardaway, Jr. Two grandchildren by this union: Ennie Ka and Thomas Carl Hardaway.
