Allen Family Cemetery
This cemetery was located at Vandemere, NC. but has since been destroyed by a storm. It was on a point between Cedar Creek and Log Pond Creek, closer to Log Pond Creek, across from an old saw mill. The land was owned by Benoni Allen. The source for the information came from Emma Allen Whealton (1882-1981), daughter of Benjamine F. and Kitty Messick Allen, born in Vandemere. The exact location was supplied by her grandson, Berry Carawan. This cemetery was submitted to the NC GenWeb Archives by Donita Hamilton and is posted here with her permission.
