Died at his sister's, Mr. C. Calhoun's, near Stewartsville, Richmond county, N.C., on the 28th ult., Alexander McInnis, Esq., in the 68th year of his age. Mr. McInnis resided many years in Orangeburg District, S.C., and through premonitory symptoms from infirm health, left S.C. and came to his sister's on Monday evening before he died. He was a christian, and highly esteemed by those best acquainted with him.
