In Rockingham at intersection of US #1 and  US #74, head south on # 1, -go approximately l/3 to l/2 mile 
and turn left on Airport Road, as you turn off #1 the Airport Road is adjacent to the Village Motel, follow Airport
Road about 4 l/2 miles and turn right on what I call Mispah Road, -go for approximately l/2 mile and Mispah Cemetery 
will be on the right side of road, -the Ashley Chapel School will be nearby on the other side of the road.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Hamilton. I came to see Mizpah cemetary about 6 years ago with my parents. 
At the time is was very over grown. The reason we were there was that my great grandmother is buried there. 
Unfortunately we could not find her tombstone. At that time i put away the family tree. I have just picked 
back up on my research and found her death certificate and also her mother and brothers. They all state that 
they were buried at Mizpah. I don't see any of them on your list. Is that because there stones were not found? 
Just curious because i was thinking of making the trip back down if their were stones in the cemetary for my 
relatives. My great grandmother was Addie Best(Bess) James b.2/4/1896 d.02/12/1935, her mother was Henrietta
 Best b.11/4/1861 d.3/8/1940 and her brother was James Clinton Best b.3/31/1893 d.5/24/1950. Any light you

(Perhaps, the above are the same person? But, Henry B. BROWN, b. Sep 6, 1870; d. Sep 27, 1947;
son of Temple BROWN / Henry married Kezzie MAYNERS / Manness, ca 1894.  Kezzie was about 12 yrs 
older than Henry.  Kizzie was the mother of Florence MANER (mar Richard BOLING).
 
Mrs. H. B. BROWN (Kizzie) was also buried at Mizpah Ch Cem but I dont find a listing for her.  
She was b. Aug 19, 1858; d. July 21, 1931.  Her parents are listed as John MAYNERS and Eliza FREEMAN.  
I have no addl info re the Mayners-Freeman family.
 
Another son of Richard BOLING and Florence Maners (all spellings) is bur at St Paul Ch Cem:
Lacy Everett BOLING (Nov 8, 1905 - June 9, 1959 / mar Lila unk).
 
Lastly,  Florence Maynors BOLING is bur at Eastside Cem.  Her father is listed as John MAYNORS and 
Florence's son, Colon BOLING, was the informant for her death cert.
 
My direct line is thru Richard Boling's brother, Alfred BOLING who mar Emeline GARNER, Randolph Co., 
North Carolina.
