The numerous friends of Mrs. John F. McNair will deeply sympathize with him in the death of Mrs. McNair who passed away suddenly
at Jackson Springs about 4 o'clock Thursday morning in her room at the hotel. She was convalescing from a severe attack of typhoid
fever which left her heart weakened and her death was from heart failure, to which she was subjected.

Mrs. McNair went to Jackson Springs to recuperate and the night before her death was apparently as well as usual. Mr. McNair, his
daughter and two grand children were with her at the Springs. She was in the 68th year of her age. The funeral will take place at
Laurinburg this morning.

Mr. McNair is a member of the firm of McNair & Pearsall, wholesale grocers, of Wilmington, and is also engaged in mercantile business
at Laurinburg. Mrs. McNair was a Mrs. Lytch, of Richmond County, and was greatly esteemed at her home. -Wilmington Star.
